A premium conversion-focused design revolution and upgrade to Shopify 2.0 for watersports brand Red Paddle

Red Paddle was founded by John Hibbard in South Devon, England, in 2008.

The company creates world-leading inflatable paddleboards and premium outdoor kit with the aim of enabling and inspiring adventures.

Retailing in over 60 countries worldwide, Red Paddle is loved by extreme watersport enthusiasts, families, SUP schools and more.

The Red International Development Centre, or ideas factory, is run by a team of passionate paddle boarders all involved in the development of the company.

Red Paddle’s robust quality control system means that the brand doesn’t offer boards until the team is entirely satisfied with how they look, feel and perform, resulting in an incredible 0.02 per cent return rate.

Red Paddle approached By Association Only to elevate its online presence to reflect the quality of its industry-leading watersports products as well as upgrade to Shopify 2.0.

The company also wanted to make its technically detailed product descriptions more digestible, improve its navigation and introduce larger images that demonstrate the inspirational Red Paddle lifestyle.

Enhancing the site’s speed and security was also a priority.
