Pronounced “shar-pour”, meaning shampoo in the Indian language Sanskrit, Chämpo was inspired by Knox’s grandmother who for years used natural oils and ancient Indian practices on her enduringly thick, lustrous hair.
Chämpo marries these Indian practices, which stem from Ayurveda – an ancient Indian holistic healing system – with formulas crafted and produced in the UK.
The brand uses naturally derived botanicals that have been meticulously considered, researched and tested to create its range of shampoos, conditioners, oils, creams and serums.

The agency also built a custom-made quiz, which consumers can use to help determine their hair type and subsequently which range of products to purchase – Vata, Pitta or Kapha.
Chämpo continues to work with BAO today on an ongoing retainer agreement.
