Fashion brand Saloni commissioned
By Association Only to design an editorially-led premium store.

Fashion designer Saloni Lodha launched her namesake label in 2011.

The name, Saloni, means beautiful in Sanskrit – a reflection of Lodha’s desire to create beautiful pieces using vibrant colours.

The brand’s signature shapes, textiles and custom prints are inspired by Lodha’s childhood in India and life lived between Hong Kong, Seoul, London and Bangkok.

Carefully crafted to be collected and cherished over time, each look is designed to be worn seamlessly from day to night, casual to formal.

Pieces are stocked in premium stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and Net-a-Porter.

An existing Shopify merchant, Saloni approached By Association Only to reimagine its website to mirror the brand’s bold and distinctive designs whilst allowing the garments to speak for themselves.

Its blog, Saloni World, played a huge role in informing the editorially-led aesthetic, with a focus on dynamic content, flexibility, and ease of use for the merchant.

We also created a custom solution for translating sizes per location, introduced a new checkout, and simplified the preorder process.
